The Spiritcaller of Frost is one of the Spiritcaller bosses in Diablo 4. He is a dungeon-only boss and a shaman who uses his staff to freeze and send his enemies to a bitter frost death.

Diablo 4 Spiritcaller of Frost locations
Much like any dungeon boss, the Spiritcaller of Frost is located in two dungeons, and they are Lost Archives and Derelict Lodge. Since this boss is frost type, he has a better place to be than Fractured Peaks as this is where both dungeons are located and where you will confront him twice.
Lost Archives is located southwest of Fractured Peaks, and you can take the Nevesk waypoint to get there.
The Derelict Lodge dungeon is located on the western side of Fractured Peaks, and the fastest way to get there is by taking the Nostrava Stronghold waypoint. However, if you haven’t unlocked it yet, then Menestad would be a close second.
How To Defeat Spiritcaller of Frost in Diablo 4
To defeat the Spiritcaller of Frost, you have to watch out for his icy projectiles and stay away from the pillars that he will constantly conjure throughout the fight. You should also try avoiding most of his attacks as a few of them can get you completely frozen.
Spiritcaller of Frost’s abilities
There are three main abilities that you have to watch out for.
Ability 1 – Basic Attack: The basic attack for this boss consists of three ice balls that will split up in a linear direction. The best course of action is to dodge those balls really as you don’t have much to do here.
Watch out though, because getting hit multiple times with those can freeze you.
Ability 2 – Ice Pillars: The shaman will constantly spawn Ice Pillars that don’t deal any damage on their own. However, they will affect your maneuverability because if one of his basic attack ice balls hit a pillar, then up to five other ice balls will be shot from the Pillar.
The best strategy here is to point the boss away from the pillars so he does not have the chance to aim his basic attack toward them.
Ability 3 – Summon: Pretty straightforward, the boss will constantly summon enemies that come to his aid. My recommendation would be to defeat them first because the pillars and the iceball pressure along with all the enemies will make the fight a bit chaotic.
Diablo 4 Spiritcaller of Frost rewards
Defeating the Spiritcaller of Frost will reward you with at least 1 rare and 1 magic item. You will also get some gold, experience, and renown points and Legendary Aspects for completing the dungeons for the first time.
By defeating the boss in Derelict Lodge, you will get the Aspect of Explosive Verve (Rogue Only), and defeating him in the Lost Archives will reward you with an Aspect of the Protector.
