Diablo 4 Scosglen region

Scosglen is the uninhabited zone of the Druids. Venturing into this foggy area will prove to be challenging most of the time. You will encounter Tree giants, Drowned, Phantoms, and even Demons.

When in Scosglen, always be on the lookout for the unique material called Howler Moss that can only be found in those parts of Sanctuary.

Diablo 4 Scosglen Renown

Collecting your Renown rewards is probably the number one thing you need to aim for after you complete the main story. This is because some of the benefits you get from that system are bound to your whole account. In Scosglen, there are a lot of renown related activities that you can do.

Activity Count
Waypoints 8
Strongholds 3
Side Dungeons 25
Side Quests 47
Altars of Lilith 34
Areas that can be discovered 70

Using a tool to keep track of all your progress is a good idea, especially since Sanctuary is a vast open world where there are multiple zones that you have to cover. You can use Mapgenie’s map tool to keep track of the things that you have already collected in any of the zones in Diablo 4.

If you are looking to get a lot of experience and a decent amount of renown, then you should look at completing Strongholds. In every region, you will only find three of them because they are extremely rewarding. If you are trying to gain access to all the waypoints and vendors in Scosglon, then you might want to finish the Strongholds as some of them will unlock new activities upon completion.

  • Moordaine Lodge – Located east of Strand
  • Tur Dulra – Located on the western side of Scosglen right above Deep Forest
  • Hope’s Light – Located at the far north side of the region, right above Northshore

We have written detailed guides about all the Strongholds in Scosglen in a dedicated guide.

Side Dungeons

You can find 25 Side Dungeons in Scosglen. Completing each one for the first time will reward you with the following:

  • Legendary Aspect that is account-bound and tied to the specific dungeon
  • 30 Renown points

When completing any of the dungeons a second time, you will simply get the experience from monster kills, and whatever loot they might drop. However, if done in Nightmare Mode, then you can upgrade your Paragon board glyphs by the end of the dungeon.

Side Quests

If you are planning to dig deeper into the lore of this zone, then you can find and complete Side Quests in Scosglen. These are short missions that will ask you to perform a trivial task, however, some of them are quite fun to do.

By completing the Side Quest, you will earn renown, some experience, and have a chance to get some nice loot.

Altars of Lilith

Altars of Lilith

Altars of Lilith provide your characters with +2 Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, or Willpower. Some of them can even provide you an increase in your Murmuring Obols limit and provide you extra Paragon Points. Completing them should be a priority.

In the Scosglen region, there are 34 Altars of Lilith that are up for grabs. Collect them, and give your characters an extra boost in stats.

Areas Discovered

Exploring new areas in Diablo 4 is quite the experience. In Scosglen, you will be venturing around tall trees that have both a beautiful and sinister vibe. Regardless though, you might still want to uncover all the fog of war in Scosglen, as doing so on one of your characters will make it uncovered on all the others.

World Boss in Scosglen

Completing World Bosses is a rewarding task as you will get caches that provide you with a whole bunch of rewards including Legendary gear and other rare material that you will need for necessary upgrades. In every region, there will be one arena where the World Boss will spawn.

In Scosglen, the World Boss is located in the subregion called Caen Adar. To get there, you can either take the Braestaig waypoint and navigate east, or take the Corbach waypoint and head north.
