- The Tree of Whispers

We go through the Hawezar Waypoints in more detail in our dedicated waypoints guide.
Strongholds in Hawezar
There are only three Strongholds in every region, and this is due to how rewarding they are. Completing a Stronghold would mean that you have to go to the designated area and fend off the demons who have conquered this location.
After conquering it, you will invite its inhabitants back, and the zone will flourish again. Some Strongholds unlock new waypoints, vendors, and dungeons. Apart from that, you will also get a good chunk of experience, access to an Altar of Lilith, and renown points.
Here is a list of Strongholds in Hawezar:
- Crusader’s Monument – Located west of Forsaken Coast
- Eriman’s Pyre – Located west of the Writhing Mire
- Vyersez – Located north of Umir’s Plateau
Side Dungeons in Hawezar
Hawezar has 23 Dungeons. Those Dungeons are located in specific places and completing any one of them will reward you with a specific Legendary Aspect and 30 renown points. This activity is made to be run multiple times, especially with the Nightmare Dungeons being tied to upgrading your Glyphs which will ultimately make your Paragon Board much stronger.
Side Quests in Hawezar
The area with the most Side Quests is Hawezar. This region has 49 side quests that you can go through to learn about the Lore of the swamps and dunes that scale through miles and miles in this region.
Altars of Lilith
Altars of Lilith are statues that you can find peppered in every zone of Sanctuary. They are a one-time unlock kind of thing, and interacting with a statue will provide you with a permanent stat boost. This boost will also affect all the characters in your account.
Hawezar has 34 Altars of Lilith, and this makes it the area with the most Altars across all Sanctuary.
Hawezar Areas Discovered
Exploring Hawezar would mean that you are uncovering the fog of war in that region. Locating a new zone will reward you with experience and some renown points.
The good part about that is once you have uncovered all the hidden areas in Sanctuary, then all your characters in all realms will have them discovered by default.
World Boss in Hawezar
Every zone in Sanctuary has a specific location where World Bosses spawn. The world boss zone in Hawezar is the Fields of Desecration. This small area is located west of Vyeresz and east of Zarbinzet which is the main city of this zone.
It is recommended that you only participate in the World Boss fight when your level is high enough and when there are enough people around because those bosses are huge and they tend to be extremely hard to solo.
