Shooting for the Gift of Maguuma Mastery but you are left with Dragon’s Stand Hero Points? Well, you are in luck because this guide covers every single challenge in Mordremoth’s domain.
Do note that I recommend completing the Meta event in the map before attempting to complete all the hero challenges.
GW2 Dragon’s Stand Hero Points
There are 7 Hero Points in Dragon’s Stand. Unlike the other hero points in Heart of Thorns, the ones in Dragon’s Stand are pretty simple as they are all places of power that are not protected by enemies.
These hero challenges are solo-friendly, but for most of them, you have to complete the Meta Event before you can get the Hero Points.
Before we begin, make sure you have the Glider and the following masteries unlocked:
- Lean Techniques
- Ley Line Gliding
- Updraft Use
- Bouncing Mushrooms
1. Dragon’s Overlook
- Location: Dragon’s Domain
- Difficulty: Easy
- Waypoint: Dragon’s Domain Northern Waypoin [&BK4IAAA=]
- Instructions: After defeating Mordremoth, make your way to the reward area. Get to the edge and find a tendril that you can jump from. Deploy your glider then cross to the big tendril on the left. From there keep heading straight till you find the place of power.
2. Exalted Pylon
- Location: Rooted Copse
- Difficulty: Easy
- Waypoint: Northern Advance Camp Waypoint [&BAAJAAA=]
- Instructions: From the waypoint, take a right and jump down the cave. Then keep going straight to the Exalted door where you will find an updraft by the end of it. Take the updraft, then take the bouncing mushroom to get to the top. From there, keep heading straight till you find a hole with an Exalted Pylon in the center. On top of the Pylon will be a place of power, slowly glide down to it to get it.
3. Mushroom Grotto
- Location: Central Barbed Gate
- Difficulty: Easy
- Waypoint: Central Advance Camp Waypoint [&BFMIAAA=]
- Instructions: From the waypoint, take a left and jump down the cave. By the end of it is a ledge where you have to glide down and turn 180 degrees while maintaining your altitude with the glider. Keep going straight then take the bouncing mushroom to get to the place of power.
4. Spider Nest
- Location: Wyvrn Scar
- Difficulty: Medium
- Waypoint: Southern Forward Camp Waypoint [&BE8IAAA=]
- Instructions: Take a left from the waypoint and venture deeper into the jungle until you find a Ley Line. Take that ley line to get to the top of the mountain. Then head straight till you find a Spider’s Nest. The place of power might be protected by a Veteran Spider, so keep your guard up.
5. Stavemaster Adryn’s Pod
- Location: Northern Blighting Tower
- Difficulty: Easy
- Waypoint: Dragon’s Domain Northern Waypoint [&BK4IAAA=]
- Instructions: After defeating the dragon, head back to the Northern pod room and grab the hero point by interacting with the place of power.
6. Blademaster Diarmid’s Pod
- Location: Central Blighting Tower
- Difficulty: Easy
- Waypoint: Dragon’s Domain Central Waypoint [&BJcIAAA=]
- Instructions: After defeating the dragon, head back to the central pod room and grab the hero point by interacting with the place of power.
7. Axemaster Hareth’s Pod
- Location: Southern Blighting Tower
- Difficulty: Easy
- Waypoint: Dragon’s Domain Southern Waypoint [&BFcIAAA=]
- Instructions: After defeating the dragon, head back to the Southern pod room and grab the hero point by interacting with the place of power.
