If you plan to unlock Elite Specialization, then you will need to complete Hero Challenges. In this guide, we will cover all the Crystal Oasis Hero Point locations in Guild Wars 2 (GW2).
GW2 Crystal Oasis Hero Points
There are 5 Hero Points in Crystal Oasis. Most of them can be done solo as the enemies will be mostly Veterans and not Champions, unlike the Heart of Thorns Hero Points. However, if you are new to the game, then don’t be shy to ask for help in the map chat. People will be more than happy to help.
It is recommended that you unlock the Raptor mount before proceeding with this guide. You can get it early on in the PoF main story.
1. Veteran Confessor Opeyemi
- Location: Amnoon Southern Outskirts
- Difficulty: Medium
- Waypoint: Amnoon Waypoint [&BLsKAAA=]
- Instructions: From the Amnoon Waypoint, simply exit the city from the south and you will find a small camp where the Veteran Confessor Opeyemi would be waiting for you.
2. Abandoned Forged Ore
- Location: The Sinking Ruins
- Difficulty: Medium
- Waypoint: Amnoon Waypoint [&BLsKAAA=]
- Instructions: From Amnoon Waypoint, head north until you reach the camp where you got the Raptor. From there, you will see a small entrance to a cave. Go inside the cave and keep going until you stumble upon a wooden platform. Go up the platform, and if you look behind, you will see a cliff that you can reach by using your Raptor. Make the leap and continue straight to find the Hero Point.
3. Wind-Worn Bottle
- Location: Sifuri Sand Sea
- Difficulty: Medium
- Waypoint: Amnoon Waypoint [&BLsKAAA=]
- Instructions: From Amnoon, take the eastern exit, and head north. You should find the Hero Point just after the Oasis.
4. Unearthed Ruins
- Location: Hatari Tablelands
- Difficulty: Easy
- Waypoint: Temple of Kormir Waypoint [&BEAKAAA=]
- Instructions: Take the Temple of Kormir Waypoint and head north. Take the small cave trail and move toward the Desert Highlands portal. Just west of that portal, you will find a cliff. Jump over that cliff with your Raptor and make your way down to the Hero Point.
5. Branded Pyramid
- Location: Maculate Fringe
- Difficulty: Medium
- Waypoint: Temple of Kormir Waypoint [&BEAKAAA=]
- Instructions: From the Temple, cross the bridge and take the slope to the east. Make your way around the mountains till the Branded Pyramid is visible. Head over to the Pyramid and find the broken path that allows you to jump all the way till you reach the Hero Point. This Hero Point is located on top of the pyramid, and you can find a Branded Chest right next to it as well.
